The Cow Pie finally decided to report on the big stack of cases on AG Bridget Hill's desk.  Evidently, in Wyoming election related crimes don't get prosecuted.  And now, we are considering giving Hill another high profile job.

Is there any gold left in Fort Knox?  That's the question I tried to answer with historian and owner of U.S. Coin Capital Fred Dashevsky.  We talked about the history of the Federal Reserve and whether it matters, or not that there's any gold left.  His answer might surprise you.

On Weekend Update, the owner of U.S. Coin Capitol joins me to try to figure out if there's any gold left in Fort Knox.  His answer might surprise you.  Also, he gives a history of the federal reserve and it's role in creating our current debt situation.

Gabriel Green calls himself a Democrat In Name Only.  He joined me for an interview to talk about his comments during a Democrat Central Committee meeting that was held in Sheridan.  It's an interesting interview.

Today is the deadline for all county Republican Parties in Wyoming to have their elections.  In just about all of them there are liberals claiming to be conservative.  Sheridan is no exception.

Rep Tom Kelly was interviewed by Wyoming Public Media about the session.  One of his votes caught my attention--HB64.  Kelly claims that it amounts to a mandate which is against the GOP Platform.  I disagree.  Also The Sheridan Press has published a piece that seemingly contradicts their earlier claim.  But does it?  Not even close.

The Wyoming Democrat Party has issued a statement about Rep Hageman's cancellation of in-person town halls.  It's as disingenuous as you'd expect.  Also an update on Monday's story about the Sheridan Press.  Where most people would admit fault, the Sheridan Press doubles down!

The Sheridan Press has made a provably false accusation about the Sheridan County Republican Party.  They claimed the party had failed a legal requirement to notice a meeting.  That claim was hilariously printed directly beside the legally required ad.  This amounts to nothing less than the media's political activism at the national level

The last bill in the Freedom Caucus' 5 and Dime Plan has passed into law.  Rep Pendergraft joins me to discuss those key pieces of legislation.  The media and the other side said that conservatives couldn't govern--seems like they all were wrong about that.  Also, some hints at what I have been working on.

Guns and Babies are the two subjects that always come up in the Wyoming Legislature.  Gordon just vetoed SF196 Amendments to the Second Amendment Protection Act.  Of course, there's a lawsuit against one of the abortion bills that the governor signed.  Weird, they want it moved to Teton County.

The Democrats are just as nuts in Wyoming as they are in the rest of the country.  Multiple Harriet Hageman events have been disrupted recently by them.  Audio from inside a Sheridan County Democrat meeting proves they're planning to disrupt another event.  Also some curious comments from a 28 year old Democrat who claims to have infiltrated the Freedom Caucus.

Rep John Bear joins me to talk about the 2025 session.  It's a very different perspective than what the media has been feeding you.  There were great conservative bills that didn't get heard, there is no $1.3 Billion and lots more.

Rep Ken Pendergraft joins the program for the entire hour to discuss the session--what passed, what didn't pass.  He also talked about a very personal bill for him that is now Wyoming law.

Chris Adamo is the author of the book Rules for Defeating Radicals.  He wrote it based on his observations of Redcoats in Wyoming.  Our interview is a 30,000 foot view of this year's legislative session.

Legislative recaps are upon us--the time politicians tell us what they did in Cheyenne.  The story they tell us is often very different than the truth.  Recently, senators told Wyofile that funding measures were not crammed into other bills.  But is that entirely true?

The Wyoming Attorney General has not acted on ANY election related complaint that the Wyoming Secretary of State has forwarded to that office in the last year.

In an attempt to cover up the disaster of not passing a budget, the Senate created a "zombie bill" to fund the shooting sports complex.  At the same time Sen Steinmetz attempted to bring the run-off election bill to the floor.  The people who voted for the zombie voted against the election integrity bill--26 of them.

The latest in my series Escape From Communism.  My friend Mailyn Salabarria spent an afternoon describing the horror show that is life in communist Cuba.  The idiots wearing Che t-shirts should spend 2 months there.

In a slightly delayed episode, (Thank you for your patience) It's that time of a year for bills to meet an untimely death.  The comparison between the chambers is interesting.  Convention of States got beat yet again in the House.

Replay of Cowboy State Politics Live February 27.  WEA Lawsuit against the Wyoming Legislature.  Bo Biteman kills the budget and Gene Hackman has died.  Jeff Bezos says that he is going to focus on personal liberties and free markets.

The Senate JCC and some in the media is claiming there was a deal in place to finish off SF69.  Members of the House Joint Conference Committee say that no such deal existed.  One big reason that such a deal never existed is that it would be against the joint rules of the legislature.  House JCC members Reps Tony Locke and Chris Knapp as well as Rep John Bear join me to discuss it.

The Attorney General is no fan of your gun rights.  HB234 would have forced her to do something if your gun purchases were being tracked by credit card companies.  The Senate killed it.  Also, an update from the SF40 episode--one more prominent Representative that can't seem to tell the truth.

Convention of States will he heard in the House Education Committee tomorrow.  A year ago, Sen Bo Biteman and a representative from Convention of States Action debated me and Leah Southwell from the John Birch Society.  It was a smack-down of epic proportions. 

Some counties in Wyoming are engaging in socialism in the name of "affordable housing."  It's worse than you think, they are actually taking money from home owners and giving it to people who didn't earn it.  SF40 would stop it but some in the Wyoming Senate is trying to kill the bill to help their liberal allies.

Teaser for Weekend Update.  What happens when you refer to a chairman as "madame."  Even in Wyoming there are people that think they are entitled to the fruits of your labor.  How one simple bill that should be a no-brainer has exposed some in the legislature for who they are.

The Wyoming County Commissioners Association is not the conservative group you are led to believe.  It's no big surprise considering their chairwoman is an elected Democrat.

A tax cut is not a benefit.  It's the government taking less of your money.  Some are claiming SF69 as the "crown jewell" of this legislative session.  It's not.  Thursday, an amendment was added in the House that goes a long way towards a better solution.

Rep Bob Davis says if the federal government prints more money the state should just raise taxes.  Another idea is SF96 which requires Wyoming to hold precious metals.  Fred Dashevsky of U.S. Coin Capitol joins the program to talk about how important the bill is.

Some Senators made it clear why they voted for SF69 and it's not exactly to give tax relief to Wyoming Citizens.  Former Representative and current Campbell County Commissioner Scott Clem joins the program to talk about that and the larger problem of high property taxes.

There's no rule against legislating in the budget.  It's a practice that I don't care for but sometimes it's necessary if you have exhausted all other options.  On Friday, the Redocats threw a fit about it--even though they're the experts in the practice.

Rep Ann Lucas' obscenity bill is waiting for a hearing in committee.  The Senate passed a 50% tax reduction in residential property taxes.  There's a ton of people claiming that the sky is falling.  But really, in this case, 50% equals a lot less.  Also, I welcome a new sponsor to the program.

The Speaker of the House held a press conference Friday morning.  Present, were members of the Wyoming media and me.  Are conservatives on the appropriations committee base-line budgeting?  Yes, but there's a reason for it.

Wyoming could be broke in a couple of years if we keep up with the crazy spending trend we are on.  But, some politicians aren't interested in reducing our spending--they'd rather create a fiscal crisis that forces Wyoming counties and towns to sue the state.

Elissa Campbell tried to gut the repeal of gun free zones more times than all of the Democrats combined.  On the floor she literally said Wyoming Citizens don't understand complex issues.

Cowboy State Politics Live January 24, 2025.  WYFC Passes their 5 and Dime Plan.  Harshman and his tax cuts for the rich.  Elitism in the House of Representatives--you're just too stupid to understand.  FACE Act repeal.  Ultrasound requirement before an abortion.

Senate Joint Resolution 1 is this year's version of the Convention of States.  It's pretty much the same as the last ten times its been defeated in Wyoming, with a few new twists.  Two years ago Mark Meckler and I tangled in the Senate Corporations Committee.

Rep Jarvis claims she is voting based upon the results of a survey she sent to constituents.  If all we are doing is number crunching and then voting accordingly we may as well have a House full of bots like Vic the AI Bot.  There's a bunch wrong with the idea--not the least of which is it's pretty much what the Redcoats accused conservatives of doing.
