A little clean-up from the Laramie County Republican Party meeting on Tuesday or "Story Time with Dani Olsen."  Also a conversation with House District 40 Candidate and Former State Representative Richard Tass.

Republicans in Laramie County were disenfranchised by the executive committee.  There were multiple violations of their own bylaws.  Nina Webber was present at the Laramie County Republican convention and gives a first-hand account of what happened there.  It is not what the media is telling you.

Our final discussion with candidates for Wyoming's Governors Mansion.  Brent Bien and I had a wide ranging discussion.  Also, one of the founders of the Redcoated Frontier Republicans has written an article--according to him, Wyoming Republicans are operating a totalitarian state right here in Wyoming.

Third in our series of discussions with candidates for Wyoming's Governor's Mansion is its current resident, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon.

Senator Cale Case was censured tonight for his support of medicaid expansion, dissemination of false and misleading information concerning the Laramie County Republican Party.  The censure resolution also mentions his lack of support for the Wyoming Republican Party.  Full audio of the censure vote courtesy of the Wyoming Conservative Chronicle.

In the second interview with candidates for the Wyoming Governor's Mansion, I spoke with James Quick from Douglas.

At the GOP Convention, I sat down with Harriet Hageman for over an hour.  This is an interview unlike any you have heard from her.  We covered a wide range of topics from wildlife, the trona industry to the Supreme Court.  It's a fascinating discussion.

First in our series of four interviews with candidates for the Wyoming Governor's Mansion is Rex Rammell.  He has run for public office in Wyoming a few times.  He sat down with me at the Historic Occidental Hotel in Buffalo to discuss his race.

A Conversation with Chairman of the Wyoming Republican Party, Frank Eathorne.  The Convention is coming up this weekend and I give Chairman Frank an opportunity to respond to the numerous articles concerning the Wyoming GOP recently. 

The county assessor is required to attend yearly courses to make sure your taxes are assessed accurately.  There is one county assessor in Wyoming that has made no attempt to do that--her entire term.  Elected officials must be accountable to their voters--they must uphold the law.  And this assessor has not done that.

Schools across the country are refusing to teach the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.  The Sons of Freedom, a group in Park County, has decided to do it themselves by starting a "Constitution Bee."  If we aren't satisfied with our government it is up to us to do something about it.

Sen Cale Case published a ridiculous op-ed over the weekend.  He wants you to believe that the vast majority of Wyoming Citizens agree with him.  He goes on and on about how extreme the WY Republican Platform is.  But he doesn't mention how many times he has tried to push medicaid expansion through our legislature.

Over the Easter holiday, the Cow Pie published an article about the new abortion clinic in Casper.  In it, the authors try to convince you that the killing of innocent human beings is somehow "reproductive healthcare."  It's not.  I explain in detail why this claim isn't anywhere close to the truth.

It's election season.  And every 2 years, the Wyoming media plays the same game.  They switch up their reporting with a more conservative bent.  This is to convince you that they've been conservative all along.  And, here's why.

Sometimes, even a blind squirrel finds a nut.  But in the Wyoming media it seems that it is the blind leading the blind sometimes.  County 17 News recounts opines on the old Frontier Republican trope of incivility but the leave out one glaring example of it.

Wyoming Promise purports to be a Wyoming born and bred political advocacy organization.  But are they really?  Nope, they are just another deceptive outside group with some pretty amazing funding sources.  And there's a fairly prominent Wyoming politician that sits on their board.

Really, the budget session was a bit of a mixed bag.  Even though it was an all-out spendathon, conservatives did come away with some wins.  Here's the quick rundown of wins and losses during this past budget session I've been promising.

At the end of the legislative session, Senate Leadership stripped Sen Anthony Bouchard of his committee assignments.  But was it right?  Also, Rep Landon Brown finally makes an appearance on the show....well, sort of.

Rand Paul visited the Cowboy State this week.  He appeared at campaign events for Harriet Hageman in Cheyenne and Gillette.  Cowboy State Politics has the only copy of the audio from the event held in Gillette.

We thought that they spent money before.  That was nothing compared to the hundreds of millions our Wyoming Legislature went through last week.

Teaser This past week was a pork barrel feeding frenzy in Cheyenne.  Legislators who told all of us the ARPA funds would be used wisely couldn't help themselves at the trough. 

There are two abortion bills that are on their way to the Senate.  One of those is HB92.  It's a trigger bill that would effectively outlaw abortions if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.

The University of Wyoming is spending $1.4 Million on 5 students in the gender studies degree program.  Senator Cheri Steinmetz offered an amendment to eliminate funding for it.  The Senator joined us to discuss her amendment and explain why.

Apparently, the cardinal rule in Wyoming politics is that you don't give cover to Redcoats.  Why then did the gun group that demands adherence to that rule break it?  Politics, pure politics.  They were right to do it, but why can't anyone else make the same political calculation?

Yesterday was General Washington's birthday.  That's why we commemorate President's Day.  Two stories that you probably haven't heard about him at the Constitutional Convention.  And there is an effort afoot to strip the State Treasurer of any meaningful power.  It's starting in the House of Representatives and here's the audio to prove it.
