The Republican Women of Sheridan County hosted a Convention of States Debate Tuesday Jan 9.  Sen. Bo Biteman and Dana Prater from COSAction defended the idea.  Leah Southwell from the John Birch Society and I explained why it's a terrible idea.

There's a ballot initiative to reduce your property taxes by 50%.  Some legislators are claiming that this would shutter county governments.  In reality, that 50% reduction in your taxes only amounts to a 10% reduction in their budgets. 

Wyoming will be one of the central targets of Natural Asset Companies.  Yellowstone, Grand Teton, the Bighorns and our high plains desert will all be subject to the control of private companies or foreign governments if the new SEC rule goes through.  Sounds crazy but as U.S. Rep Harriet Hageman explains it could be a terrifying reality.

There's a lot more to Couy Griffin's story.  Most of it is completely ignored by the media--edited video clips, and lots of things taken out of context.  When it's all put together it paints a different picture than even just hearing him tell it.

Political contributions have to be reported by Dec 31st in Wyoming.  They say that politics makes strange bed-fellows.  And there's no stranger relationships than those the Wyoming Caucus has with their contributors.  The lady suing the state over our abortion ban is just one.

Albert Sommers and Cale Case both have bills out that are nothing more than trojan horses.  The Education Savings Account bill is chock full of reasons to vote against it.  Case's bill is an attempt to take over the Republican Party in Wyoming.

One of the greatest Christmas Stories ever told barely broke even at the box office and for 30 years nearly everyone ignored it. But now....

Breaking: The Wyoming Judicial Nominating Committee has given 3 names to the Governor to fill the Supreme Court Vacancy.  You are not going to believe who's on it!  ...a CURRENT POLITICAL ACTIVIST!!

Leftists always try to screw up our holidays.  This year it's in claiming that Jesus was a socialist.  He wasn't.  Jesus is in the freedom business.  Wrap up from the Fremont County Commissioners.

Several counties in Wyoming have decided to do away with public comment--one even passed a resolution about it.  Evidently, none of them have read the Constitution.

Everyone's home is greener than usual.  But, there's one house in Wyoming that's the greenest of all of them--the Governor's Mansion.

The Property Tax bait and switch is on.  While legislators are writing op-eds proclaiming how hard they are working, there is a behind the scenes bill to do exactly what I told you was going to happen.

Some "Republicans" simply can't resist following the talking points of the Democrats.  But they always call themselves Republicans.

There's been a lot of pearl-clutching and hair pulling about anonymous political advertisements lately.  All of the criticism asks you to reject them because they are anonymous and not because they aren't factual.  This is asking you to choose ignorance.

There's a dumb rumor going around that anonymous political writings have no place in politics.  Those spouting this theory have forgotten a few political chart-toppers.

Happy Thanksgiving.  As I do every year, I tell the real tale of Thanksgiving.  Mark Gordon has decided that he doesn't want to debate after all.  He picked up the gauntlet and then put it back down again.

There's a new legislative ratings website.  Curiously it shows the exact opposite results as ALL of the others.  It couldn't be that it's just another attempt by the Redcoats to mislead you, could it?  It is and it's the same players doing it.

The Red Star thinks that we should pay lawyers too; because, of course, you don't already have a right to an attorney.  The Revenue Committee killed the real fix to our property tax debacle.  And, Master Chief Jim Sturdevant joins me for a discussion on Veterans day.

Senator Cheri Steinmetz and a number of conservative legislators have challenged Governor Gordon to a debate.  The point of which would be to debate the validity of all of his claims.  The Senator joined me to discuss it.

The Judiciary Committee finished up their interim work by trying to subsidize lawyers.  Unbeknownst to all of us, there's a shortage of them; and now we have to have a bill to fix it.

Johnson County Republican Party Chairman Mike Madden hasn't held a meeting in 240 days--since the day he was elected.  Yet, he attended the WY GOP State Central Committee Meeting in Newcastle this past weekend.  He even spoke about property taxes.  How could he possibly represent Johnson County Republicans if he hasn't spoken to them?

Rep Daniel Singh joins me on the program to discuss his support of pot and the Convention of States.  We also discussed work he is doing in the blockchain committee on so-called AI.  Also, Rep Hageman voted against a censure that has many people irritated with her.  It was the right vote.

Albert Sommers has discovered podcasts.  According to him, he values civility--so much so that incivility harms the institution.  If that's true why does he publish articles that are the opposite of it?  Mark Gordon gave a talk at Harvard.  Apparently, all of us have agreed to be carbon negative--whatever that means.
