David, with all due respect, gender is far more complicated than just “boy & girl,” people across time and cultures people have known this. The argument for transgender and non-binary rights is focused in history, science, empathy, and humanity. The extra rights you’re talking about are things such as using the bathroom, and being called their name, playing sports, being able to be provided with the correct effective medical treatment . Rights you and I have (or had) not “extra.”

I believe you’re misunderstanding. Trans and non-binary folks are not asking or fighting for “extra rights,” but rather to be recognized within the legal system and protected from discrimination. (So, yes there is such thing as transgender rights and non-binary rights.)

25:27 “I’m not trying to exclude anybody” I know this about the online town hall, but on a larger scale this is also untrue. When asked about transgender and non-binary people’s rights she said at the Laramie Town Hall, “I don’t even know what that means.” If she listened to her constituents she would know. They aren’t new, the term transgender was first popularized in the 60s, non-binary in the 90s. By allowing this gap of knowledge, and not engaging honestly she’s excluding LGBT Wyomingites.

If you ask a question you’ll get boilerplate propaganda, if you get a response at all.

For context the question before that heart attack comment was: “Trump’s plan to cut these programs and the people who administer them, coupled with the tariffs will decimate Wyoming farms and rural communities. What are you doing?” She met sincere concerns with snark and laughter, it’s not terribly surprising folks were and are frustrated.
